Jumi Consulting Group has been contracted by OHM Advisors to provide a market analysis of existing conditions in the target area incorporating demographic information from the US Census Bureau, real estate trends, and windshield surveys. Jumi will also develop place-based recommendations for commercial and economic development, rooted in the community’s feedback and best practices in urban planning.
The City of Detroit Planning and Development Department conducted the Greater Warren/Conner Framework Plan, a comprehensive study of four east side neighborhoods: East Canfield Village, Chandler Park-Chalmers, Fox Creek, and Riverbend. The framework provides recommendations on housing stabilization, economic development, public spaces, mobility, and climate resilience to create a more equitable and sustainable community.
